Emerce has presented the Dutch Interactive Awards (DIA) again this year, putting the best interactive online work in the spotlight. We are very proud to announce that we have won a silver DIA in the “B2B” category for our work with WHOA Workflow Systems. A wonderful recognition from the professional jury!

At Emerce's gala in the Beurs van Berlage, the Slides were presented in no less than fifteen categories. It was an evening of inspiring and groundbreaking cases from the digital world.

As a nominee in the B2B category, we were allowed to pre-present our platform to an independent jury of digital heavyweights. We competed against well-known solutions: Hornbach Profiservice, Financiallease.nl and 247Tailorsteel.

We finally won the silver award, which gave us a fantastic second place!

Jury Report

“More than 100,000 companies are struggling with problematic debts, partly due to the coronavirus crisis. With a cloud application that automates complex laws and regulations, companies can reach a debt agreement. The jury saw in this case a social relevance that is also scalable to other European countries. Preventing unnecessary bankruptcies was clearly highlighted in the presentation. This platform facilitates complex financial workflows and brings all stakeholders together on one platform. This makes it a real Tech-for-Good case that contributes to social added value.”

WHOA Workflow Systems

Commissioned by Hermes Advisory we developed a cloud solution based on Microsoft Azure for WHOA processes. WHOA stands for Private Agreement Homologation Act. This law offers entrepreneurs who are in payment problems a perspective again. By reaching a debt agreement, they prevent bankruptcy and employees keep their jobs.

With the application we have developed, the process surrounding the WHOA laws and regulations is largely automated. We make debt agreements accessible to both large and small companies. And most importantly, we prevent unnecessary job losses.
