Technical Application Manager

As a technical application manager at Blis

you are responsible for the technical management of our clients' Peoplesoft environments. You ensure that the systems perform stably, safely and optimally. You work daily on installations, configurations, updates and performance optimizations. You are also the point of contact in case of technical disruptions and you play a key role in system upgrades, migrations and the implementation of new functionalities.

You work within our Enterprise IT business unit, together with passionate colleagues, external parties, developers and the technical and functional teams. In addition to PeopleSoft, our unit also specializes in Elastic solutions and Cloud optimization. There are opportunities that you can also grow in this.

What are you going to do?

You are Blis' first point of contact for the customer. You review the incidents, service requests, and change requests. You solve issues that you can tackle immediately and consult with the team about issues that are beyond your reach. You sit down with our service manager at customer meetings every week.

In addition, you advise and help with integration and carry out upgrade processes independently. Managing advanced ERP systems such as PeopleSoft requires specific expertise. If you don't have PeopleSoft experience yet, we'll make sure you've learned the necessary knowledge quickly!

Must haves

• At least 3 years of experience as a technical application manager in the field of a technical (preferably ERP) stack.

• Minimum higher professional education work and thinking level.

• You have a solid basis in system, application and/or database management.

• You have a strong analytical mind and translate this into concrete solutions for the customer.

• You are a team player, who is also very good at functioning independently.

• You are willing to work at the customer location.

• Good verbal and written command of Dutch and English.

Nice to haves

• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components, including application servers, process planners, and web servers on Linux and Windows systems.

• Knowledge of Cobol.

• Salary of €2,750—€4,000 based on 40 hours
