Power Platform developer at Blis, what does that mean?

As a Power Platform developer, you will work in multidisciplinary teams that consist of UX professionals, business analysts, full stack developers and software testers. Together, you form a project team and are responsible for inventing, designing and implementing software that forms the core of their business operations for our clients. We call that Mission Critical.

As big Power Platform fans and experienced software developers, we combine the accessibility and pragmatics of low-code with the principles and best practices of professional software development. At Blis, we are convinced that low-code deserves a strategic place in the IT landscape of our clients. Governance, security, ALM and DevOps are also mega-important when it comes to low-code. And many organizations still need to be helped with that.

In addition, we see low-code as a very useful addition to our existing full-code projects. In our fusion development teams, you therefore work with various disciplines to find the best result for our clients. Sounds cool, doesn't it?

What are you going to do in concrete terms?

As a Power Platform developer, you will be involved in developing prototypes that are conceived during the design & concept phase of our projects, or you will build mission critical components during the construction phase of our projects.

Inspire, support, set fire and make our clients even more successful with very smart applications of the Power Platform. Sharing your knowledge in a way that suits you, such as blogs, webinars, speaking at conferences or just 1:1 in pre-sales meetings, we give you the space!

Learn, improve and have fun

As a Power Platform developer, you will work with our CTOs, lead developers and software architects to come up with best practices, frameworks and tools to make our projects even better. And what we think is perhaps most important, learning a lot, doing new things, doing business and, above all, having a lot of fun at work!

All in a close-knit, professional and mega ambitious team where you have plenty of space to express your own professionalism and creativity and to further develop yourself.

In short, do you recognize yourself in the following points?

• You are available at least 32 hours a week (sure, we're flexible, don't have a nine-to-five mentality and have been big fans of hybrid working, by the way!)
• You have at least three years of experience as a developer and have knowledge of developing custom solutions within SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
• Of course, you have or are willing to obtain the relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-400, PL-600 in your back pocket. Not that we think those exams are sacred — but we see it as a form of hygiene, just like brushing your teeth
• You have a deep aversion to default environments, you always find a solution a good solution and understand why deployment pipelines are a must
• You have good English and Dutch speaking and writing skills
• You are independent, result-oriented and you are not afraid to jump in at the deep end (no worries, divers are swimming around you!)
