What is a FastTrack Solution Architect?
It's a title that Microsoft reserves for people who look beyond technology. As a FastTrack Solution Architect, you demonstrate that you can use the entire Power Platform smartly to create customer solutions that really work. And these solutions follow the Power Platform Well-Architected Framework, and are proven to be scalable, secure, and reliable.
“As a consultant, it's about coming up with the right things and working out the right solutions for your customer,” Elianne explains. “You don't just build a Power App. You're looking at the bigger picture.”
Albert-Jan adds: “A Power Platform solution consists of much more than just Power Apps. As a Solution Architect, you think more broadly and see how different technologies can reinforce each other to deliver the best results.”
How to become a FastTrack Solution Architect
You can nominate yourself or be nominated by a Microsoft employee or other FastTrack Solution Architect. This is followed by an extensive process in which Microsoft tests whether you meet the requirements.
Elianne explains: “If your nomination is accepted, you must demonstrate that you meet many conditions: a minimum number of years of experience, the right certifications, contributions to the community in various forms, and, of course, well-documented customer cases.”
In addition, you ask customers for recommendations. If that goes well, an interview with Microsoft's Power Platform Product Group will follow. They will ultimately decide whether you will be appointed.
The special thing is that you have to earn the title again every year. “You must demonstrate that your knowledge is up to date by submitting a recent case,” says Richard. “So it's not a title for life, but one you have to earn over and over again.”
Microsoft is thrilled
Microsoft has also noticed that we now have three FastTrack Solution Architects. It confirms the strong collaboration between our organizations and the value that Blis Digital brings to the Power Platform community.
“Last year, two employees (Richard and Albert-Jan) at Blis Digital won the FTRSA Power Apps title. This year, Elianne joins as the third proud title holder, and Richard even won it twice this year, for both Power Apps and Power Automate! A great achievement that once again underlines how strong Blis Digital is within the Power Platform.”
What does this mean for you as a customer?
For our customers, this has concrete advantages:
Deeper expertise: You work with proven specialists who can come up with and build complex, multi-year solutions.
Direct contact with Microsoft: We have a direct line to Microsoft with technical challenges and access to their product teams.
Global network: Our FastTrack Architects participate in exclusive Microsoft sessions and have access to an international community of specialists.
“We were already doing well for our customers,” says Elianne. “This recognition simply gives us additional opportunities to perform even better, especially in complex deployments where collaboration with Microsoft is valuable.”
What now?
With three FastTrack Solution Architects, we are strengthening our position as a strategic Microsoft partner. It enables us to tackle even more ambitious Power Platform projects and provide our customers with even better guidance in their digital transformation.
Because that's what we love to do: helping our customers unleash the power of technology in all aspects of their business. Unleash the power of technology!
